Introduction

Launching in 2027, Taipei Medical University proudly introduces the Ph.D. Program in Innovative Medical Technology Research and Development Industry, an interdisciplinary program that bridges Smart Medicine and Industry-Academia Innovation. The program focuses on three strategic domains: AI-driven Drug Design, Protein Therapeutics Development, and Smart Precision Diagnostics. By integrating TMU's cutting-edge research strengths and extensive clinical resources with leading partners in the biotechnology and healthcare industries, it cultivates a practice-oriented, innovation-driven ecosystem. Through this program, doctoral students are empowered to transform pioneering research into real-world impact, addressing critical industrial challenges and driving Taiwan's biomedical innovation onto the global stage.
